Bring the kids along for a great time at the Numurkah Foodbowl Festival.

Numurkah’s annual family friendly event, the Numurkah Foodbowl Festival, will hit the streets and fill the venues of the country town on October 14, 15 and 16.
The festival, now in its ninth year, is expected to attract crowds of more than 2000 during the weekend.
Its popularity is due to the wide range of activities and entertainment appealing to food, music and wine lovers alike, and everyone in between.
The three-day program will feature old favourites such as the Long Slow Brunch and the Numurkah Golf and Bowls Club’s Jazz and Shiraz Night, all experienced amongst the charming atmosphere of the quaint country town.
Friday, October 14 will see local venues open their doors to bring the community together. Each venue will be playing local bands which are sure to make the streets sound alive.
Saturday, October 15 will see hundreds of stallholders take over the town, as Melville Street and surrounds host local provedores and producers, crafters and makers, and beer, wine and cider artisans.
Kick back on Sunday at the leisurely Long Slow Brunch, hosted on the banks of the Broken Creek. This sumptuous multi course dining experience will feature local products and is sure to tantalise all tastebuds.
“With so much to see and do over the entire weekend, I invite you to participate in any way you wish,” said Festival Director Jamie Lea.
“From a glorious stroll along the creek, to a day of shopping until your heart’s content, to sitting on a picnic rug relaxing while listening to the best musical talents, Numurkah is your oyster.”
The action-packed weekend will start on Friday evening and run until Sunday afternoon.
Multiple venues throughout Numurkah will host activities, many free activities will also be on offer throughout the weekend.
Festival goers are encouraged to check out the program available on the website.
“On behalf of the Numurkah Foodbowl Festival committee and sponsors, thank you to anyone who has made our weekend possible,” Ms Lea said.
