One of Australia’s most endearing singer songwriters, Simon Marks is an entertaining character and talented musician who has toured the globe and the country intensively over the last decade and has shared with his loyal listeners a saddlebag of stories about life, love and loss.
Sometimes sad, sometimes funny, but always captivating, Marks is consistently diverse with his live shows, a true joy which needs to be experienced at least once in your lifetime.
Recently moving to north-east Victoria, Simon has been busy touring and performing many of his works including his latest release ‘Big River, Little Stories’.
Tracks, including ‘Wally’ (The Mick Thomas Song) and the first single ‘Misfit’ have been aired on ABC Radio and other stations Australia wide endorsing the growth of the artist.
Beginning his career with an invitation to perform at the West Coast Blues and Roots Festival in 2008, Simon has gone on to release five independent albums, play festival bills nationally and overseas and to perform in everything from a sinking ship to bars, barns, house concerts, art galleries and more.
